Specifications include, but are not limited to: IMCC is needing to replace the current fire suppression system over the kitchen fryers in order to comply with ........ fire code and in order to comply with NFPA (10.1.1 & 10.1.2). Current system is an ansul system, Avtec Mist-a-Fire 20, which is no longer supported. System replacement, installation, testing, and training to be included, along with removal of current system. Electrical work can be done in house by our licensed electrician. Pictures of area and fryers are attached. On site visit can be arranged if desired prior to submitting bid by contact Carol Manternach at 319-626-4215. It will require six sprinkler heads at a minimum. One over each fryer to total four heads and one over each tilt grill for two more, adding up to our six sprinkler heads at a minimum. The line feeding the heads will need to be around fourteen feet long to reach the last tilt grill. The existing hood width is 68'' by 228'' in length. The sprinkler heads are approximately 30" from the back wall. The current hood is 228" total in length and protrudes 68" from the wall. The very top with the vents is 24" in height. The back wall to the system is 14" thick. If a new hood is needed to meet UL standards please include new hood in pricing
