Specifications include, but are not limited to: 5.1.1 The vendor shall comply with all requirements set forth by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) including, but not limited to, the requirements for Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and Privacy. 5.1.2 Influenza (and COVID-19, if applicable) virus vaccines shall consist of those lots as released by the FDA for the 2024/2025 season. 5.1.3 Vaccines must be administered by a licensed Pharmacist or Registered Nurse certified to immunize by the American Pharmacy Association or Iowa Pharmacy Association. 5.1.4 The vendor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, and other components to provide influenza (and COVID-19, if applicable) vaccinations for this project. 5.1.5 Influenza (and COVID-19, if applicable) vaccines must be administered in accordance with current CDC administration guidelines for infection control.
