Specifications include, but are not limited to: LED luminaires must be suitable for horizontal mounting with a die-cast aluminum housing (including door) and including a 7-pin NEMA photo control receptacle (per ANSI C136.10-2010 and C136.41-2013); receptacle must be adjustable for photocontrol orientation. Provisions must be made for mounting on a 2-3/8” O.D. mast arm with stepped tilt adjustment of +/-5° in 2.5° step increments (with integral bubble level) and including a bird guard at the arm opening (bird guard must be stainless steel or aluminum and securely held in place to prevent movement during installation); pipe/tenon clamps and tilt adjustment must be fully contained within the luminaire housing. The access door on all fixtures must have a tool-less, quick-release latch mechanism; door must remain securely attached to housing by a hinge mechanism when open. All unpainted parts must be made of stainless steel or aluminum, galvanized, or zinc-plated to prevent corrosion. Luminaires must be certified to ANSI C136.31-2001 for bridge and overpass vibration requirements (3G for over 100,000 cycles). Maximum weight and EPA (effective projected area): • For 70-LED through 250-LED luminaires, maximum luminaire EPA must not exceed 0.60 sq. ft. and maximum luminaire weight must not exceed 10 lbs . • For 400-LED luminaires: maximum luminaire EPA must not exceed 1.00 and luminaire weight must not exceed 28lbs. Finish: The color of all fixtures must be ANSI 61 “Light Gray”, or approved equivalent. Finish must be applied as a powder coating and achieve a finished nominal thickness of 4 mils with a finished minimum-point thickness of no less than 3 mils. The finish system must meet or exceed the performance requirements set forth in AAMA 2604. The finish must not exhibit degradation in color, luster or thickness during the 10 year warranty period. Electrical: Luminaires must be equipped with a 60 Hz, 120-277 volt or multi-tap regulated electronic power supply (driver) wired for 120V. The entire luminaire must be rated for operation in ambient temperatures of -40C to +40C. LED lamps must be wired such that failure of one LED does not disable operation of other LEDs. The LED driver must be solid state with an integral passive heat sink. Driver must be UL listed. Driver must have short circuit, overload, overheat and overvoltage protection. Minimum power factor must be 0.90 @ full load with a maximum total harmonic distortion of 20%.
