Specifications include, but are not limited to: Lawn Care Consists of: • Mowing and trimming/edging of grass in designated areas • All grass in sidewalk cracks, grass and edge clippings from lawns, sidewalks, picnic shelter pads and parking lots as well as leaves and pruned branches shall be removed and disposed by the contractor each time the area is serviced. Turf Maintenance • Price: Per Mow (Approx. 26 mows per season) o To include monthly steel blade edging • All debris will be removed from the lawn areas prior to mowing. All mowing shall be performed and maintained uniformly at heights between three (3) and four and a half (4 ½) inches. Every effort should be made to mow in alternating directions to avoid rutting or circling of fixed objects. • No mowing will be done near patio or sidewalks when in use. Efforts will be taken to ensure grass clippings are blown away from sidewalks, patio, areas of designated plantings, parking lots, windows or buildings. Grass clippings will not be mixed or added to mulch. Contractor will be responsible to clean up grass clippings from these areas as needed. • Areas that cannot be reached with a power mower (rider or push) will be cut with a string trimmer or hand clippers to the same heights as the surrounding lawn. No chemical edging shall be used. Edging Sidewalks will be edged with a mechanical sidewalk edger at depths between 1” and 2” with an edge gap of one-half inch minimum and one-inch maximum.
