Specifications include, but are not limited to: Routine mowing, weeding, edging, and debris removal are required at all. These services shall be provided in the following manner: • Frequency of services shall not exceed once per week, unless authorized by City Project Manager. Frequency of services in areas of “low-mow” seeding shall not exceed once per month, unless authorized by City Project Manager. • Turf shall be cut to a uniform height of approximately 3”. • All mowing equipment shall have sharp cutting edges. • All mowing shall be done with chutes down to eliminate rocks and other debris from being through toward traffic. • Edging shall be performed as necessary throughout the growing season to maintain a clean sub appearance; in general, every six weeks. • Contractor shall be responsible for the legal disposal of all debris cleared. Contractor will not be permitted to use on-site dumpsters. With prior authorization, the contractor will be allowed to dump vegetative matter from this contract at the City Compost Facility. • Mowing and edging activities shall be performed in a manner which eliminates clippings from depositing on the street. Clippings which do deposit on the street shall be removed by Contractor. • Care shall be taken to not disturb or impact the health of all shrubs, tree rings, and plant beds located in areas serviced.
