Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Project includes the following Work: The construction of two activated sludge basins, a new ML Splitter Structure, aeration equipment for the new activated sludge system, an expansion of the existing solids contact splitter box, and a new electrical building; the installation of RAS pumping station and centrifugal pumps, a sludge densification hydrocyclone system, a multirake bar screen, screening wash press, manual bar rack, grit handling equipment in a new grit removal building; and the demolition of the existing administration building and construction of a new administration and maintenance building; and all necessary connections and appurtenances. After award and approval of contract and performance bond, the Work on this contract shall be substantially complete on or before March 31, 2027, and will be completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions on or before June 30, 2027. Should the contractor fail to complete the work by these dates, liquidated damages of $4,000.00 per calendar day will be assessed for work not completed within the designated contract period.
