The successful Supplier will work in partnership with the University and will be expected to fulfill the following scope of services for providing the Optical storefronts for students, faculty, staff, and community members. These services include, but are not limited to: 1. The successful Supplier will operate the Optical storefront location on the 2nd floor within the Iowa River Landing location, at 105 East 9th Street, Coralville IA 52241. A blueprint of the location is under the attachments tab. There is a red box outlining the rooms, rooms 2400 and 2400A. 2. There is a potential for additional operational locations. 3. The Supplier would be responsible for the day to day operations, staffing, and hiring Opticians. It is required to have at least two Opticians working at all times. All personnel of the successful Supplier having direct patient contact will comply with the applicable health screening requirements of the Hospital. 4. The Supplier will share a portion of their income derived from these services. 5. Coverage should be available on a consistent basis during routine business hours (with specific hours and staffing to be negotiated). Supplier will follow the University calendar for holidays and 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. hours at minimum. The Supplier is required to provide the services, including managing staffing/scheduling, providing financial reports, ensuring that quality, satisfaction and safety standards are met while administering other operational aspects of the storefront, consistent with established UI policies and procedures..
