Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Public Improvement, upon which bids are requested, generally consists of a new parking garage located within the development area of the 1st and 1st West/Kingston Yard development. The parking facility will reside within the development on approximately 35,000 SF of buildable space available. The ramp will be a 3-bay, 5 level facility providing ±465 parking spaces. Utility spaces are located within the parking facility in a west-central location and will be accompanied by storage space to be utilized by the City’s parking operator. An employee restroom and housekeeping amenities will be located within the storage space, which will also offer an overhead vehicle door to facilitate storage of land care, parking operations, and snow removal equipment. A bike storage area is planned for the first floor along 2nd Avenue. This unconditioned space will engage the pedestrians at the street with the ramp and provide a space for patrons and residents of the development to store bikes that is protected from the elements, located at 175 3rd Street SW, Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52404.
