The City of Iowa City is seeking a qualified vendor to install a Public Transportation On-Board Camera Surveillance System, to replace our Public Transportation On-Board Camera Surveillance System. The successful vendor must: 1. Remove the current system before installing a new system. 2. Label the wires and ports of the new system. 3. Test the new system. 4. Provide adequate documentation, instructions, and manuals including a run-book. 5. Provide warranty information. 6. Perform all work including labor and supervision to design, install, and test the Public Transportation On-Board Camera Surveillance System. 7. Provide and furnish all materials, tools, supplies, and services, necessary and incidental to design, install, and test a proper and complete Public Transportation On-Board Camera Surveillance System. 8. Provide training to City of Iowa City staff. 9. Provide maintenance, support, and licensing options. 10. Provide a plan to transition from the current system to the new system that considers the continuity of transit operations. 11. provide pricing for for seven cameras per bus. Cameras facing the passengers must be 1080P resolution or higher. A camera placement diagram is provided Appendix E in the attachments tab.
