This design will involve the installation of an extension to the storm sewer system from the Merle Hay Reinvestment District Stormwater Improvements project that is currently being installed. The Merle Hay Reinvestment District Stormwater Improvements project is extending storm sewer from south of Douglas Avenue to Airline Avenue through the Merle Hay mall property. The plans for the project can be downloaded from the bid postings portal on the City’s website. The extensions will be on Airline Avenue to 66th Street and along Madison Avenue to 64 th Street. The installation of the new storm sewer will require full street reconstruction. See attached exhibit for locations. Related project items include grading, paving, storm sewer, ADA ramps, sidewalks (as needed), and associated permits. It is anticipated all work will take place within the right-of-way.
