Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.1 Contractor shall remove and properly dispose of the current elevator machinery/equipment. (In the attic, the cab itself and the hoist way). 2.2 Contractor shall install all new control equipment, cabling and associated lift equipment, all safety systems/equipment, new cab and new doors on each floor. 2.3 The new elevator shall be a traction unit. 2.4 Any equipment that can be reused for the new system shall be discussed with the project manager prior to reuse. 2.5 New Elevator shall be a passenger traction type with a capacity of 2500 pounds minimum. 2.6 All interior walls and ceiling shall be stainless steel. 2.7 The entrance size (car door) shall be 4’x 7’. 2.8 Elevator must be ADA Compliant. 2.9 Pit access is at the bottom of the basement floor. 2.10 Contractor shall provide all electrical connections, 480 volt/ 3-phase.
