The 185th Air Refueling Wing (ARW) is currently seeking sources for service and inspection of breathing air compressors, pressure washers, and floor scrubbers. This is not a solicitation announcement. This notice neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict 185th ARW to an ultimate acquisition approach. No contract will be awarded from this announcement and requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary. This Sources Sought Notice is in support of market research being conducted by the 185th ARW to determine potential sources capable of fulfilling all requirements associated with the service and inspection of air compressors, pressure washers, and floor scrubbers.
Requirement:
Inspect and service existing air compressors, pressure washers, and floor scrubbers.
- 0001 – Inspect and service KRSB 10-15HP air compressor – 2 EACH
- Annually
- Replace KRST air filter
- Replace air/oil separator element
- Drain and refill synthetic blend compressor lubricant (5 gallons total)
- Every 6 months
- Inspect 3 cogged metric V-belt grooves for nicks, scratches, correct alignment, and correct dimensions
- Replace oil filter element
- Test oil for contamination
- 0002 – Annually inspect and service Mikropor MCY-US series dryer – 2 EACH
- Remove and clean drain strainer
- Check heat exchanger for cleanliness and clean with compressed air
- Check refrigerant charge and refrigerant lines for leaks and top off refrigerant
- 0003 – Annually inspect and service Hotsy 1474N pressure washer – 5 EACH
- Inspect hoses, valves, and fittings for wear or damage
- Inspect and replace filters/screens
- Inspect belts
- Inspect and change pump oil
- Inspect pressure (GPM) of machine
- Inspect fuel lines
- 0004 – Annually inspect and service portable Aladin 16-430 SL pressure washer – 1 EACH
- Inspect hoses, valves, and fittings for wear or damage
- Inspect and replace filters/screens
- Inspect belts
- Inspect and change pump oil
- Inspect pressure (GPM) of machine
- Inspect fuel lines
- 0005 – Annually inspect and service Nilfisk Advance SC6500 40D rider floor scrubber – 2 EACH
- Inspect brushes, pads, and squeegees underneath floor scrubber
- Inspect battery box on automatic floor scrubbers
- Inspect hinges, joints, and wheels
- Inspect tanks, hoses, vacuums, and filters
- 0006 – Annually inspect and service Factory Cat GTR V2.1 36” rider floor scrubber – 2 EACH
- Inspect brushes, pads, and squeegees underneath floor scrubber
- Inspect battery box on automatic floor scrubbers
- Inspect hinges, joints, and wheels
- Inspect tanks, hoses, vacuums, and filters
- 0007 – Annually inspect and service Nilfisk Advance 3800 floor scrubber – 1 EACH
- Inspect brushes, pads, and squeegees underneath floor scrubber
- Inspect battery box on automatic floor scrubbers
- Inspect hinges, joints, and wheels
- Inspect tanks, hoses, vacuums, and filters
- 0008 – Annually inspect and service Adfinity X20C walk behind floor scrubber– 1 EACH
- Inspect brushes, pads, and squeegees underneath floor scrubber
- Inspect battery box on automatic floor scrubbers
- Inspect hinges, joints, and wheels
- Inspect tanks, hoses, vacuums, and filters
- 0009 – Provide recommendation on necessary repairs to specified equipment. No additional service or repair is to be completed without prior authorization from the Contracting Officer.
Firms responding to this sources sought notice are also requested to provide the 185th ARW with capability statements, which need to include at a minimum:
