The Contractor shall perform sewer televising, cleaning and locating services on an as-needed basis when the City does not have staff available to perform the Work. Work will include, but may not be limited to: • Televising and cleaning sanitary sewers, 6” to 18” diameter • Televising and cleaning sanitary sewers larger than 18” diameter • Locating and televising sanitary sewer lateral with depth measurements every 5’ and at fittings • Locating sanitary sewer manholes in off-street (wooded) areas and providing GPS coordinates for manhole locations; Contractor shall obtain permissions for access through private property when necessary • Televising storm sewers, 8” diameter and larger • Inspecting and photo documenting storm sewers and sanitary sewer structures • Obtaining depths of City infrastructure or private utilities using sonde or potholing techniques • Miscellaneous sewer repair work including lining, manhole and structure inspections including 3D scans with high resolution photos Upon notification by Work Order Form (sample form provided under Attachments) of a site needing televising, cleaning or locating, the Contractor shall have ten (10) business days to complete the Work required. If this schedule cannot be accomplished, the Contractor shall contact the Project Manager for a job specific timeline. The Contractor shall provide one (1) written report summarizing findings of televising work and a copy of the video of each sewer line inspected. This report, hard copy and/or electronic, and video shall be submitted to the Project Manager electronically no more than five (5) business days after completion of the televising work. Submittal of the report and video is required prior to issuance of payment. All Work will be performed within City sewer lines.
