Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Engagement and Success Plan Development Unit: a. Referral is made to the program by a JCO with up to 3 criminogenic Risk Factors identified. The contractor shall respond to Referral within 5 days. b. A Success meeting shall be scheduled within 5 days of admission. c. A Success plan shall be developed for the Youth outlining the cognitive behavioral restructuring curriculum and type of programming that will be used to address each of the dynamic risk factors identified by JCO in collaboration with the team. d. Youth shall be given the chance to see their progress from one unit to the next and see that the movement can be accomplished in a reasonable period of time. Contractor shall maintain a waiting list and contact Juvenile Court Officer Supervisors for approval to expand the program. 50 200 2. Cognitive Behavioral Restructuring Unit: a. The evidence-based programming shall be offered to the Youth and family in the home for a minimum of 45 minutes per day with at least 30 minutes spent on curriculum work. Youth shall be seen a minimum of 4 days/week with a face-to-face parent contact on at least one of those days. Programming may be offered away from the home if the Juvenile Court Officer feels it is appropriate to do so. b. The curriculum shall address one Dynamic Risk Factor at a time for a minimum of 2 weeks and a maximum of 4 weeks. After each 4-week session, a staffing will be held with a Juvenile Court Officer to determine whether work shall continue with the same risk factor for another session, or if a new Risk Factor shall be addressed. c. Programming will be determined by Success Plan development. The program will address the identified dynamic Risk Factors and will have a specific curriculum and homework that the Youth shall be required to complete. The Youth shall be able to see their progress through completion or testing out of each factor.
