Specifications include, but are not limited to: Iowa State University of Science and Technology (ISU) is soliciting information from qualified contractors to provide time and material, not to exceed, commercial HVAC/sheet metal contracting services for various construction, maintenance and renovation projects. (a) The Work involved shall consist of miscellaneous HVAC/Sheet metal contracting services to include, but not limited to, the following. a. HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) i. Installation of new and repairs to existing equipment ii. Installation of new and repairs to existing exhaust systems iii. Ductwork revisions iv. Repairs to existing fume hood and bio safety cabinet exhaust systems v. Registers, grilles and diffusers b. Equipment i. Rooftop units (RTU) ii. Air handling units (AHU) iii. Fan coil units (FCU) iv. Unit heaters (UH) v. Exhaust fans (EF) vi. Ventilators vii. Condensing units viii. Chillers ix. Louvers, VAV boxes x. Dampers xi. Furnaces c. Fabrication i. Galvanized steel ii. Stainless steel iii. Welded stainless steel iv. Aluminum v. Copper vi. Spiral pipe vii. PVC-coated spiral pipe viii. Painted clad (b) Owner prefers Contractor have access to an in-house fabrication shop.
