Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State of Iowa conducted an Interstate Cooperative Procurement, as the lead state, for its benefit and the benefit of the member states of the NASPO ValuePoint Cooperative Purchasing Program (“NASPO ValuePoint”). The purpose of the Solicitation was to establish Master Agreements with manufacturers of tires, tubes and related services supplied through the dealer networks located in the respective, Participating States. The objective of the RFP was to obtain best value, and in some cases achieve more favorable pricing, than obtainable by an individual state or local government entity because of the collective volume of potential purchases by numerous state and local government entities. The State of Iowa intends to enter in to four Master Agreements.
