• Remove and dispose of all wood greater than 3” in diameter o Downed wood less than 3” in diameter may be left in place or removed at the discretion of the contractor • Existing stumps less than 3’ tall shall be cut flush to the ground. Stumps 3’ or taller may be left in place or cut flush to the ground, at the contractor’s convenience and discretion. • Woody debris should be cleared off fences without causing additional damage to fence • Ditches within the park boundary must be cleared of downed wood • No living trees over 4” may be felled without prior approval • Mulch or chips can be piled or spread, if left on site • Root balls may be left in place • Contractor may leave up to 3 downed tree trunks per acre (greater than 18" diameter) to serve as future obstacles. Large, downed trees that are left should be delimbed and lay flush to the ground.
