Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Iowa DOT is seeking to procure the services of a contractor (hereafter referred to as the Successful Responder) to deploy, integrate, operate, and maintain a system as a service, delivering truck parking availability information, and camera images in real-time for the truck parking information management system (TPIMS) that is currently operational at a number of both public and privately owned parking locations across Iowa. This system may utilize components of the existing system and will be designed to collect and provide parking availability data and images of truck parking spaces to the freight movement industry to assist drivers and dispatchers in finding available truck parking locations. This procurement also allows for future expansion to additional public and private parking locations
