Agricultural activities on these lands are detailed on the Annual Permit and attached tract maps. Bidders must review these forms closely and contact the area manager on any questions prior to bidding. 1. Permit rights will be determined by competitive bid. The term of the permit will be from the date of the award, for three (3) years to December 31, 2027, and can be renewed for two (2) additional three (3) year terms, subject to mutual consent of both parties. Awarded bid given by the successful bidder will be used as the rate for all crop years. 3. Crop fields for crop year 2025 are specified on the attached tract maps. The Area Wildlife Manager will determine crops for each year on an annual basis prior to March 1 of the current year. 4. The State of Kansas reserves the right to reject any/or all bids. Failure of the permittee to comply with terms of the agriculture permit or annual permit shall be considered cause for revocation of the agriculture permit. 5. Sub-permitting of Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks agricultural land is strictly prohibited. 6. Permittee will be responsible for harvesting and hauling (amount determined before harvest) the State’s share of grain to the elevator. Permittee will be required to leave the remaining state share of the crop in the field as directed by the manager.
