Specifications include, but are not limited to: The successful bidder will be responsible for the following key areas: A. Management and Oversight: Operator will have exclusive management and oversight of the recreational sports activities at Field of Dreams for program years as agreed to by the Parties. This includes, but is not limited to, hiring, training, and managing skilled personnel and volunteers such as coaches, referees, and other staff, to ensure quality services at the complex to the City of Basehor and its visitors. B. Program Development: Operator will be tasked with creating a diverse range of youth sports programs, leagues, and events, with emphasis on inclusivity and catering to varying ranges of age and skill. The facility currently offers the following youth sports, on a recreational level, primarily. a. Youth Baseball b. Youth Softball c. T-Ball d. Youth Football e. Youth Cheerleading f. Youth Soccer g. Tournaments; The City is asking bidders to address their approach in continuing to offer the above mentioned activities and athletic programming. If the bidder intends to partner with another person, firm, corporation, or club for certain programming, please include information about that partnership and their qualifications. C. Marketing and Promotion: Operator will develop and implement, in conjunction with the City, and using traditional and digital methods, effective strategies to promote the athletic complex as a premier destination for youth sports activities for Basehor residents and its visitors.
