Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Replace current structured voice and data cabling infrastructure with new structured voice and data cabling infrastructure that successfully performs all current business processes and implements best practices. • The structured voice and data cabling infrastructure will integrate with other City applications and interface with our third-party providers through standard techniques. • The structured voice and data cabling infrastructure will be supported by the proposer, easily configurable and upgradeable, meeting City’s business needs for the foreseeable future. • The structured voice and data cabling infrastructure will be based on current technology and proposer will have a well-defined enhancement strategy. • Utilize information technology to improve service to the community. • Increase productivity by eliminating redundancy and unnecessary tasks. • Allow for continuous upgrades of technology to support current and future core functional needs. • Utilize and manage technology in a cost-effective manner. • Enhance internal and external communications using information technology and improved business processes.
