Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University of Kansas (“KU”, “The University”) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors for the installation of a comprehensive network and Wi-Fi system at the newly renovated David Booth Memorial Stadium (“Stadium”) in Lawrence, KS. The objective is to enhance the overall fan experience by providing reliable and high-speed internet connectivity throughout the stadium, supporting various services such as mobile ticketing, live streaming, and interactive fan engagement. The project involves the design and installation of a robust network infrastructure for an approximately 42,000-seat outdoor football stadium, including Wi-Fi access points, switches, and related equipment, to ensure seamless connectivity for fans, staff, and vendors within the Stadium. The expectation is that the Wi-Fi will service the bowl and suite seating areas and concourses, the back of house areas, and the entry points into the stadium. The Stadium, located at 11th and Mississippi St. in Lawrence, KS, will be primarily used for the University of Kansas football team and will occasionally be used for other events such as KU Commencement, concerts, and other university events. Additionally, the Stadium will have a 50,000sqft. Conference Center attached, which will be used for gameday events, and for conferences for KU and non-KU entities.
