Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University of Kentucky (hereinafter “UK” or “University”) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to create and manage the official online store for the University of Kentucky Athletics Department. The successful Contractor will receive exclusive rights to operate the Official Online Store at UKathletics.com (the University Athletics Department’s official internet site).; The University is accepting proposals from Contractors to manage its online store and enhance the sales of University of Kentucky licensed products online; Only firms committed to increasing revenues for the University will be considered. The University is continuously looking for creative ideas to improve both the novelty sales and enhance the fan experience online.; Proposals provided by firms owned by or employing boosters of the University who have been disassociated from the University of Kentucky’s Athletics Programs per NCAA Bylaws will not be considered. Additionally, the contractor agrees that it will not employ or allow as a major investor any disassociated booster.; Commission/Guaranteed Revenue: Proposed Commissions and guarantees must be included and signed by an authorized Contractor representative.; Non-Endorsement: The successful Contractor agrees to make no reference to the University in any literature, promotional material, brochures, sales presentation, or the like without express written consent of the manager of UK’s trademark portfolio.; Merchandising: Contractor will be required to accept all major credit cards. Contractor must confirm they are PCIDSS compliant. The contractor accepts full liability including all costs of any breach of PCI-DSS compliance.; Contractor must obtain authorization for use of the University of Kentucky’s registered trademarks from the University’s Trademark Licensing Office prior to the use of the marks. This includes but is not limited to promotional uses to promote the online store.
