Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. AV Systems – performing the required needs analyses to effectively design, install, program, and maintain consistent and effective display, audio, control, and lighting systems. Firms must be able to provide not only equipment but integration into existing infrastructure including millwork, high-voltage electrical, communications and information systems. All new systems must be designed with an inherent active migration between existing analog hardware and systems to future digital hardware and displays. 2. Digital Signage - specialized personnel to develop and refine preliminary project scoping, conceptual designs, and project schedule development to support the implementation of network-based signage as needed. 3. Video Walls – provide, set-up and service both temporary and permanent installations of video walls whether LED-based “large screens” or multi-screen, blended image, displays. 4. Event Services – provide full-service design, staging and production for meetings, special events and live performances; including audience response systems, web casting, set designs, digital signage, wireless networking, presentation management, etc.; includes thematic workups involving graphic design and modeling to provide visual stage and show representations; must be able to provide all aspects of staging, rigging, high-voltage interconnect and operation of audio, lighting, video, and LED up to and including full preproduction and post-production services. 5. Access Studies – work could include the evaluation of existing access in major corridors with emphasis on achieving increases in vehicular capacity and safety. Work could include simulation, design modifications, report writing as well as presentation of material to appropriate stakeholders. 6. Research and Outreach – provide assistance in gathering information, interceding with manufacturers and researching existing product if required for continued use or integration and make presentations on systems as needed. 7. Training – provide training and facilitation in specific operation of all deliverables as needed. 8. Other services, as necessary – other services may include: needs analysis, data collection, consultation, systems design, demonstration and mock-up, graphic visualization techniques, test systems, and other potentially unreimbursed, context sensitive preliminary work.
