Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to obtain information and suggestions from the vendor community regarding a Retail Business Operation to launch and maintain a Business to Consumer (B2C) including eCommerce and website that accommodates KDFWR merchandise sales at shows and events along with a sales to retailers Business to Business (B2B) solution. The intent of the RFI is to (a) help the KDFWR determine the level of interest from potential retailers and marketing providers (vendors) and (b) provide information to the KDFWR that will help determine the what to include in a Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation, such as criteria and types of project size and scope, that will generate the best possible vendor response. The focus of this document is to gather information to be utilized in determining the feasibility of a full Retail Business Operation to launch and maintain a Business to Consumer (B2C) including eCommerce and website that accommodates KDFWR merchandise sales at shows and events along with a sales to retailers Business to Business (B2B) solution. The Vendor should feel free to discuss any other items that might be of importance to the KDFWR that will help provide information concerning these issues. The Vendor should keep in mind while preparing a response that the KDFWR is more interested at this time in gathering information, comments and suggestions for the potential development of a Request for Proposal and contract rather than the specific items to be included in the contract.
