Specifications include, but are not limited to: This RFP is issued to solicit proposals from qualified, experienced, and financially sound and responsible Offerors to provide stop loss coverage for the self-funded student health plan. The stop loss coverage will combine medical and Rx coverages for the purposes of reimbursement. Any offeror submitting a response to this RFP shall be willing to administer a policy according to the specifications outlined in this request. The student health insurance is available for purchase by all University of Kentucky students and their dependents. The student health plan is available for international and domestic students and the dependents of both groups. In addition, the student health plan is available for purchase by participants and dependents of the following groups: • J-1 Visa (visiting scholars); • English as a Second Language Students (ESL); • University of Kentucky Dietetic Interns; • University of Kentucky graduate students on the Bowling Green campus; • Bluegrass Community and Technical College (BCTC) students located at Cooper, Regency, and Leestown campuses; and, • Other groups as deemed eligible by the University of Kentucky.
