Compactor Equipment shall be fully maintained by the Contractor throughout the life of the contract. Contractor shall be fully responsible for hauling, emptying, and returning the unit to the site, at a time determined to be mutually acceptable by all parties. Cleanliness and appearance of the unit shall be the Contractors's responsibility. Routine cleaning of the charging hopper shall be the contractor's responsibility. However, the University staff will provide daily cleaning (or as needed) to keep this units maintained. Weight tickets will be required each time the unit is emptied and monthly invoices must reflect the date, time and tonnages of each pull. Leaking conditions shall be corrected within 24 hours of being reported. Mechanical failures shall be corrected within 24 hours and a replacement unit must be available if the downtime will exceed 24 hours.
