Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1) Provide attorney(s), who have been licensed to practice law in the State of Louisiana a minimum of five (5) years prior to applying to this solicitation, to serve as administrative hearing officers. The attorney(s) must be experienced in administrative law and procedures to conduct hearings regarding violations of the Code of the City of New Orleans Ordinance pursuant to Administrative Procedures. Such services may include but are not limited to hearing testimony, reviewing evidence, and rendering administrative judgments relative to the noted violations; 2) Be available, upon sufficient advance notice, when requested by the City, to appear before the City Council and/or the Mayor’s Office and be prepared to discuss or answer any questions which may arise relative to the material presented for discussion; 3) Meet as necessary with representatives of the City in connection with the Centralized Adjudication hearings and respective departments; 4) Attend training sessions and meetings regarding operation of administrative hearings; 5) Maintain proficiency in the relevant fields of administrative law, as well as City ordinances and amendments...
