Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1) Security Services a) Security Post Operations i) Armed and Unarmed Security Officers who are able to cover both static and roaming security posts at Lincoln Beach owned by the City of New Orleans. ii) Specific post locations, duties and instructions are subject to change and will be provided by the Office of Resilience and Sustainability. iii) An electronic means of record keeping, including an electronic clock and scheduling with reporting capabilities, shall be used. iv) Direct supervision of all Security Officers shall be provided while on duty, with appropriate and periodic checks at a minimum of once per shift. A “Field Supervisor” or the contractor’s equivalent, shall be on duty during weekday working hours to conduct these checks and serve as the single point of contact for ORS administration during the workday. v) Security Officers shall respond as soon as possible to emergency situations as requested by employees, visitors, and citizens at municipal properties where contract security services are provided. vi) Security Officers shall conduct suspicious persons investigations of individuals in and around municipal properties that may pose a threat to the safety and security of citizens and employees. vii) Security Officers shall be capable of operating x-ray screening, walk through and hand held magnetometers, camera monitoring, and other associated equipment as required. b) Telephone / Dispatch Services i) Contractor shall provide a 24 hour dispatch service connected directly to a lead supervisor or security officer on duty. ii) City will provide a telephone number for the security contractor to reach a designated representative after hours.
