The Saint Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office is requesting sealed bids for the purchase of one (1) or more Gas Chromatograph/Mass Spectrometer (GC/MS) System(s).
Bidders must meet all bid requirements to be considered. Pricing for this Bid will be effective for one (1) year from the date of Award. Specifications of items being offered must meet or exceed specifications of items listed below. All bids must include full detailed specification sheets, or similar data, to support item being offered if different from product specifications. FAILURE to furnish required data may be considered as cause for REJECTION OF BID. Upon evaluation of bids received, bidders may be asked for a demonstration and/or sample to verify that the item proposed meets solicitation requirements. Requested sample and/or demonstration shall be at bidders expense.
Bid prices shall include delivery of items F.O.B. destination or as otherwise provided.

10-Year Value Guarantee - System shall have a ten year value guarantee such that vendor shall have ten years’ guaranteed parts and comprehensive service available or give residual value credit for replacement.
Instrument Installation and Familiarization - Vendor must install and familiarize personnel with the new instrument.
Instrument must be compatible with analytical methods and data libraries currently in use on Mass Hunter / MSD Chemstation. Instrument must also be able to transfer current Mass Hunter methods to new instrument's software and run the instrument.
EI SIM IDL (Helium carrier gas with Auto Liquid Sampler) Demonstrated at Install with Autosampler: Shall Demonstrate detection limit at install: 10 fg or less for Inert Extractor EI source, Turbo Pump 8 sequential 1 μL injections of 100 fg/μL OFN standard solution at nominal 272 u ion. Compatible with Justice Trax Lims system and Justice Trax Indexer.
This purchase will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible vendor submitting the lowest overall cost meeting the required specifications. St Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office shall have the right to reject any or all Bids for just cause in keeping with La. R.S. 38:2214B.
The Gas Chromatograph/Mass Spectrometer bid will be awarded to ONE vendor only based on lowest overall prices.
