1.1.3 Purpose The Witter Farm at the University of Maine is seeking responses to provide cattle feed as defined in this document. This document provides instructions for submitting responses, the procedure and criteria by which the Respondent(s) will be selected, and the contractual terms which will govern the relationship between the University and the awarded Respondent(s). Respondents should review 1.1.4 Specifications / Scope of Work of this document to see the full Scope of Services/Products required. Though this document is primarily for the University of Maine, all campuses in the University of Maine System must be afforded the use of this solution, with all the same terms and conditions applicable to the various University locations. 1.1.4 Specifications / Scope of Work The Witter Farm at the University of Maine, located at 160 University Farm Rd, Old Town, ME 04468, is seeking to find a vendor to provide cattle feed for its cattle herd located at the above address. Responses should address the following requirements: • Capable of supporting dairy, heifer, and calf rations (milk replacer and calf grain). • Provide same day feed deliveries with small bulk load sizes (3 ton minimal). • Weekly route truck bag delivery: Provide scheduled and unscheduled deliveries of non-bulk farm related products. Respondents will provide a cost for the cattle feed (see appendix C) which is all inclusive of the services listed in the above bullets.
