Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Defense, Veterans and Emergency (Department) is seeking proposals to provide Overhead Door Preventive Maintenance and Emergency Repair Services as defined in this Request for Proposal (RFP) document. This document provides instructions for submitting proposals, the procedure and criteria by which the awarded Bidder will be selected, and the contractual terms which will govern the relationship between the State of Maine (State) and the awarded Bidder. The purpose this service is conducting preventive maintenance and emergency services of Department overhead doors to minimize the incidence of failure and to extend service life. Miscellaneous and Emergency Repairs are required under the awarded contract, and may be requested on a 24-hour, 7 day per week basis, in which the Contractor shall provide these services, upon request, to all the overhead doors.
