Description

The County, with the support of additional local funds, provides a Clinically Managed Medium-Intensity Residential (Level 3.3) program as defined by the Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR).
The County wishes to expand the treatment options at Avery Road Combined Care to include a Clinically Managed High Intensity Residential (Level 3.5) program. The addition of a Level 3.5 program is in anticipation of COMAR changes by the Maryland Department of Health (MDH) which will remove Level 3.3 care and align with the fourth edition of the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM). ASAM criteria is the standard for assessing client’s level of care for Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment.
The entity chosen to provide services will be responsible for conforming to all relevant requirements of COMAR Section §10.63.
