A.The Contractor will clean, repair, or replace County-owned pressure washers upon request. Parts to be addressed include, but are not limited to:
1. Engine
2. Pump
3. Unloader
4. Fittings
5. Valves
6. Starter
7. Tires
8. Axle
9. Handle
10. Hoses
11. Nozzles
12. Wand
13. Trigger
14. Fuel tank and lines
15. Filters and screens
16. O-rings
17. Cart
B. The County will bring pressure washer to the Contractor’s shop.
C. The Contractor must provide the County an estimate for the cleaning, repair, or replacement of County-owned pressure washers within three (3) business days of the pick-up of the pressure washer.
D. The Contractor must complete all cleaning, repairs, or replacements within ten (10) business days of the approval of the estimate.
E. The Contractor is to ensure that all parts and materials used will be new and conform to the original equipment manufacturers’ (OEM) specifications. The Contractor is to use only new parts, approved by the OEM, and is not to install parts that have been rebuilt, used, or those removed from another system without the written approval of the County.
F. The Contractor shall maintain an adequate inventory of repair parts and adequate skilled help so that no undue delay is caused in the cleaning, repair, or replacement of the pressure washer.
G. Parts will be provided by the Contractor at the discount listed in the Quotation Sheet. Verification of repair parts cost will take the form of copies of the proof of purchase invoices from the suppliers/manufacturers attached to Contractor’s invoices to the County for work completed.
CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS
A. The Contractor must have a minimum of five years of performing cleaning, repairs and replacements of commercial grade pressure washers.
B. The Contractor must have a shop within Montgomery County, Maryland.
