This requirement is for the complete furnishing, outfitting,and istallation of a novel Access Control System (ACS) and Intrusion Detection System (IDS) for Building 235 at Naval Support Activity Annapolis in accordance with the attached Minimum Requirements.
The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk Contracting Department, Norfolk VA 23511-3392, intends to award a Brand Name Firm-Fixed price contract in support of Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron Eight. This acquisition will be conducted using the policies and procedures of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services; and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Please see attachements for further information. The associated NAICS code is 561621 with a small business size standard of $25,000,000.00. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considedered by the agency.

Questions and Answers:
1. Will the new Lenel controller connect back to an existing Lenel server or will a new standalone server need to be provided as part of this quote?
The Lenel controllers will be tied into the existing Lenel Enterprise. The connection from building to dispatch will be an access point installed in the Building 235 server room.
2. If connecting to an existing server, are there enough licenses to accommodate the new 5 doors? Could you provide the Dongle ID for this system?
There are enough licenses to accommodate the new five (5) doors. Dongle ID is accounted for in the existing enterprise scheme.
3. Please clarify that you would like one Lenel controller set up in room 112 controlling doors 1,3,4, and 5 with a second control panel in room 108.
A controller will be in room 108. Room 112 will have 2 controllers to break out the communications room separately from Room 100, and Room 107. An additional controller will be in Room 108.
4. Will Lenel programming be provided by the contractor or site?
The contractor will set up the initial programming and train local Navy personnel for enrollment. District Navy personnel will also be supporting on an enterprise level.
5. Will the IDS devices tie into Lenel or will this be a separate alarm system?
Tied together by area and monitored by base dispatch.
6. For the IDS, are we to assume that all rooms will receive motion detectors and that all exterior doors to include roll up doors will receive door contacts?
No, motion detectors will be in Rooms 100, 108, and 112. Only doors listed in the Minimum Requirements will receive door contacts.
7. Are the ceilings hard lid or drop ceilings in the corridors and office areas?
