The Board of Education of Anne Arundel County, also referred to as Anne Arundel County Public Schools or AACPS, is soliciting proposals for the 2025/2026 school year for comprehensive materials for teaching Astronomy that are aligned to Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) 3-Dimensional Learning, incorporating Science and Engineering Practices (SEP)s, Crosscutting Concepts (CCC)s, and Performance Expectations (PE)s into each unit. This program should provide a studentcentered learning approach and culturally responsive pedagogy. We are seeking this program to have a full complement of universally designed learning opportunities as well as necessary accessibility for multilingual and special education learners.
