Specifications include, but are not limited to: It is the intention of these specifications that the contractor/vendor(s) hereunder shall furnish all necessary personnel, materials, equipment, supplies, and services required to provide and deliver various inmate supplies, to include but not limited to inmate uniforms, jumpsuits, inmate clothing, screening of uniforms, shoes, sanitary napkins, mattresses, laundry bags, and games covered by this contract, which the County may require during the period of time specified. The quantities shown are approximate and are for the purpose of bid evaluation. The County reserves the right to order supplies that may be required during the said period, and it also reserves the right not to order supplies bid upon by the vendor, if it is found that such supplies are not required by the County during the period covered by this contract. All items will be used by the inmate population of Cecil County Department of Corrections (CCDC) and shall be new, not used or refurbished. Orders: • Orders will be placed at the convenience of CCDC on a per need basis by the County's authorized representative for quantities as to satisfy requirements. Specific quantities and delivery information will be indicated on delivery orders. • Contractor shall provide upon receipt of each individual order an order confirmation within two (2) business days to the requesting division stating the details of the items requested for purchase, and the estimated delivery date. The order confirmation shall include details of any delays in shipment or items on backorder.
