Venue, conference support, and catering for the Maryland Water Monitoring Council’s 2024 Annual Conference to be held on Thursday, November 21, 2024. The facility must have an auditorium (with a podium) that can seat approximately 450 people OR provide the auditorium and an additional space with simulcast viewing option to accommodate 450 in total, five additional breakout rooms, an area for breaks, an area for registration, an area for vendors to include 20 tables, an area for posters to be displayed, and sufficient free parking. The facility and parking areas should accommodate up to 450 attendees. The facility will provide complimentary WiFi, projector/HDMI cable connector/A/V equipment for presentations in all five session rooms, and a staff member available to assist with any technical difficulties during the conference. The facility must be open for conference use between 6:30 AM and 6:00 PM. The contractor will provide continental breakfast, morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack at the facility for attendees, as well as coffee and tea for the length of the conference. Menus to be approved by the State Project Manager and should include several non-dairy and vegetarian options.
