PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:
The requirement is to obtain healthy pigs from the Ossabaw Island breed as these animals purposedly develop obesity when provided a high calorie diet. Pig delivery should include a veterinary health certificate supporting a good health status at the origin farm.

Minimum Specifications/Features:
• The contractor will deliver 20 healthy female pigs with recent veterinary health certificate includes (vaccines, tags, health records…etc.).
• Animals will need to be females of a similar age (approximately 8 weeks old).
• Animals will need to be delivered at Beltsville Swine facility using an approved transport vehicle
