The existing commercial sliding doors in the facility no longer meet the required security standards. Replacing these doors with detention-grade swing doors is essential for ensuring the safety and security of the facility, as well as for maintaining compliance with security protocols. This upgrade will provide enhanced durability and prevent unauthorized access or breaches. 2.2.1 Project Goals A. Replace four (4) existing commercial sliding doors with 12-gauge detention-grade swing doors. B. Ensure compliance with security standards, providing safety and control over access to the facility. C. Enhance durability and longevity by installing heavy-duty frames, locks, and associated hardware. D. Seamlessly integrate the new doors with the facility’s aesthetic, while ensuring proper environmental sealing on exterior doors. E. Provide secure and reliable access controls with a stand-alone control panel and manual key release system.
