Specifications include, but are not limited to: The WCPS Department of Information Technology is soliciting proposals from established professional services firms to provide consulting services related to the replacement of its telecommunications system. This effort is part of a long-term strategy to ensure WCPS selects a cost-effective telecommunications technology solution that will meet the long-term needs of the school system. a. The Contractor (consultant) shall demonstrate to WCPS stakeholders that they have a clear understanding of WCPS’s current telecommunications environment, its supporting infrastructure, and systems that are, or may be, integrated with it. b. The Contractor shall provide a complete and comprehensive recommendation for a Telecommunication Solution within 90 days of the agreed-upon start date. Failure to submit a complete and comprehensive recommendation within three months will be considered a breach of contract whereupon Contractor may be subject to liquidated damages c. The Contractor may recommend multiple solutions. If more than one solution is proposed, the contractor must Identify specific advantages and disadvantages of each solution as well as selection and ranking criteria to determine the best solution for WCPS. d. The Contractor’s recommended Telecommunication Solution(s) shall include a projected multi-year financial Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis. This shall include, at a minimum, the following costs: hardware, software, maintenance, installation, telecom services, contract services, repair services, and support. Include an Excel spreadsheet. e. The Contractor shall provide architectural design documents (floor plans) that specifically support the proposed solution(s).
