The City of Havre de Grace seeks competitive, sealed proposals for the construction of the Phase III portion of the Water Street Living Shoreline plan. This final piece of the Water Street Living Shoreline Project is located on privately owned property. This project involves the conversion of a failing bulkhead into an innovative dynamic living shoreline, designed to withstand extreme changes in energies, and is one of the most progressive projects in the nation. This project is a collaborative effort between National Wildlife Federation (NWF), the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF), the City of Havre de Grace, Department of Natural Resources, Harford County Government, along with the property owner and many other community organizations. The Contractor shall follow design documents as prepared by Underwood and Associates.
