The scope of work for the project is to replace the original 1989 heating plant which is 35 years old. The existing heating plant consist of two (2) oil fired boilers. The existing domestic water heating is also oil fired. Natural gas is available to the site and shall be extended to the building to replace the oil-fired equipment. The existing boilers shall be replaced with new high efficiency gas fired condensing units. The domestic water heater shall be replaced with high efficiency gas fired condensing type. The heating water pumps shall be replaced with variable flow/speed type using high efficiency motors. All piping and hydronic accessories (expansion tank, air separator, etc.) located in the boiler room shall be replaced in its entirety. All equipment is being replaced with upsized equipment for the addition and redundancy.
