REPLACEMENT OF WATER MAINS AND REPLACEMENT AND REHABILITATION OF SEWERS IN DORCHESTER AND SOUTH BOSTON.

THE WORK UNDER THIS CONTRACT INCLUDES THE REPLACEMENT OF APPROXIMATLEY 15,965 LINEAR FEET OF 8-INCH TO 20-INCH TO 30-INCH WATER MAINS, AND 44 FIRE HYDRANTS, REPLACEMENT OF APPROXIMATLEY 5,700 LINEAR FEET OF 12-INCH TO 30-INCH SEWER, COMBINED SEWER AND DRAIN PIPE, AND REHABILITATION, INCLUDING PIPE BURSTING, OF APPROXIMATLEY 9,535 LIBEAR FEET OF SEWER, COMBINED SEWER AND DRAIN PIPE. THE WORK IS LOCATED IN THE DORCHESTER AND SOUTH BOSTON NEIGHBORHOODS AS SHOWN ON THE CONTRACT DRAWINGS AND DESCRIBED IN THE SPECIAL CONDITIONS. THE ENGINEERS ESTIMATE FOR THIS CONTRACT IS $19,750,000.00
