The City of Medford (“The City” or “The Owner”) issues this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) pursuant to G.L. c. 25A§ 11i, and 225 CMR 19.00  from qualified and experienced solar and energy storage system respondents (“Responsive Offerors” or “respondents” to finance, design, install, interconnect, own, operate, maintain, repair and, ultimately, remove on-site roof-mounted and canopy solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and battery energy storage system (collectively referred to henceforth as the “solar plus storage system” or “Systems”) at the City’s Andrews Middle School (AMS), as described in this RFQ, and at additional municipal locations, as outlined in Attachment A4. It is intended that the Systems will be sized to the maximum extent feasible, subject to the provisions of this RFQ, the City’s activities at the project site, applicable legal requirements and the characteristics, limitations and load bearing capacity of the project site.
