Description

The City of New Bedford Purchasing Department, in conjunction with the New Bedford Regional Airport, is seeking proposals from qualified teams of responsible consultants to perform both a Wetland Delineation Survey and a Topographic Survey of the site. This solicitation is bid in accordance with M.G.L c. 30B.

The land surveying company should be licensed to provide land surveying services, within the meaning of the Code of Massachusetts Regulations Title 250 (CMR250), to provide professional surveying services for the New Bedford Regional Airport.

The wetland delineation should be completed by qualified wetland scientists in accordance with both the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) Division of Wetland and Waterways Handbook for Delineating Bordering Vegetated Wetland (2022) and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Regional Supplement to the Corps of Engineers Wetland Delineation Manual: Northcentral and Northeast Region (2012). The resulting Wetland Delineation Report must be acceptable to both MassDEP and the USACE for the purpose of establishing jurisdictional wetland boundaries within the survey area.
