The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the removal of existing equipment and instrumentation at the Lynnhurst can type sewage pump station and wet well, rehabilitation of the existing wet well, demolition of the existing can type sewage pump station structure, installation of new pumps, valve vault, new instrumentations and control system including level field instruments and variable frequency drives (VFDs), limited gravity and sewer force main piping and valves, and providing a new standby engine/generator. Upgrades/improvements to Route 1 (Broadway) sewage pump station include installation of a new electrical equipment rack, replacement of motor starters, new electrical wiring and conduits and other appurtenant work. Lincoln Avenue sewage pump station work includes the installation of a manual transfer switch with receptacle. Alternative 1 work also includes replacing the segment of force main that currently runs through the culvert located at Lamplighters Way with new pipe and flow path, pavement milling the disturbed portion of Lamplighters Way, and replacing an overflow drain gate valve located at the Lamplighters Way sewage pump station and other appurtenances.
