Specifications include, but are not limited to: The MA Office of Travel and Tourism (MOTT) is seeking proposals from advertising agencies experienced in public relations, marketing strategy, social media, graphic design, and advertising support services for a marketing campaign to promote a variety of events and commemorations in Massachusetts that are celebrating the 250th anniversary of American Independence. The audience for this marketing campaign includes both domestic and international visitors. MOTT strives to market this important anniversary while highlighting the underrepresented voices and stories from the revolution. The campaign will include innovative promotional strategies to stimulate and incentivize spending and provide support to the Massachusetts-based organizations holding 250th anniversary events and programming. The 250th anniversary events and programming will be produced by a combination of municipalities, non-profits, businesses, and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The successful vendor will be charged with developing and implementing a brand, marketing strategy, and media campaign for the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution in Massachusetts. The media campaign may consist of television, radio, billboards, print, and digital materials including paid social media and dedicated social media channels. The successful agency will solicit feedback from the 16 Regional Tourism Councils (RTCs), historical organizations, legislative leaders, stakeholders in arts and culture, and others identified by MOTT to create cohesive messaging, strategy, and a campaign featuring a comprehensive view of the anniversary celebrations. The content will be designed for use by MOTT, the RTCs, and other collaborative partnerships.
