The City of Quincy, acting through the Department of Planning and Community Development, is soliciting Qualifications from vendors for Communications Access for Persons with Limited English Proficiency and Persons with Disabilities. The qualifications-based selection of professional services may include, but are not limited to, the following activities: vendors may provide one or more of the following: Braille transcription, Communications Access Realtime Translation (CART), Translation, Interpretation, PDF Remediation, Video Audio description, Video Audio dubbing, Video captions and subtitles, other not specified of similar nature, Vendors must specify which languages and services they are able to provide. Vendors must also specify if they have their own interpretation equipment and the additional cost of use of equipment rentals, availability is of huge importance in the case of emergency requests. Vendors must specify their availability for on-demand and scheduled services.
