The Town of Granby is seeking to purchase a state-of-the-art CCTV Surveillance system for the Public Safety Complex. This is to replace an aging system that is currently at the building. The system should be a highly reliable, which will meet current needs and provide a growth path for future expansion if necessary. The system is expected to serve the current surveillance needs of The Town of Granby, and shall have the flexibility of being able to be adapted to changing system requirements and state-of-the-art technologies without the need for the replacement of major equipment elements. The Town of Granby seeks to replace the entire system at this time. Currently there are 36 cameras on the interior and exterior of the building. There are 3 separate DVR’s that control and record the cameras in the building. One for the fire department side of the building, including exterior cameras, one for the police department side of the building including exterior cameras and one that controls the booking area and the interview rooms on the police department side of the building. There are also two wall mounted monitors in the Dispatch Area that these images are displayed on.
